Cesar Chavez students display and educate guests on their solar suitcases that provide electricity to places that lack access to electricity.
CELI Club
Students in the CELI (Climate Empowerment Learning Initiative) Club built solar suitcases that will be shipped to Uganda to support orphanages that lack electricity. The CELI Club is led by Colleen Reardon Jackson along with students Dulce Perez Ruiz, Andrew Perez Ruiz, Mirella Alvarado Bonilla, and Husna Ehthsham. Special thanks to Dr. Karina Garbesis for supporting this wonderful initiative.
